I wasn't able to atend the 10 year reunion, so I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.  I was originally a public school teacher for two years.  I switched careers after two years and  I am currently an ER Nurse and Nurse Educator in Battle Creek, MI.  I am also working on my masters in Nursing and should have this done by May of next year. I have a wonderful husband, Larry, of almost 12 years.  He just passed the BAR exam and is a practicing lawyer here in town.  We have three beautiful children - Jordan - 9; Hannah - 7; Grace - 5.

I thought 3 kids was a lot, but then I see many are living the same crazy day to day of three kids.  But, wouldn't have it any other way!

Just returned home from  living near Munich, Germany for 2-and-a-half years with my wonderful husband, Jim Sonnenberg, (KHS Grad in 1989) our two kids, Braye (10) and Brenna (8), and our Boxer, Murphy.  Jim was transferred out to Germany to work in 2006.   I will return to a teaching position in the Utica Community School District in August of this year.  I look forward to seeing all of you at the reunion!  "Then" photo is of all of us in Venice, Italy!

Life after Kimball has been everything that I had hoped for. Went  to GVSU, met Steve, graduated, got married, worked for 13 years in a stable career, had 2 kids -Renee 8 and Anna 4 1/2, got laid-off and found extreme  happiness in being at home with my girls. Work part-time for myself which I love.
Hoping to make it to the reunion, wasn't able to attend the 10 year due to a wedding and now the 20 year falls on Steve and my 11 year wedding anniversary!

Twenty years already?  Nah, couldn't be!  After high school, I went to college, then graduate school (CMU and MSU) and trained to be a psychologist.  I completed a post-doc internship at MSU in the Counseling Center and started working for the State of Michigan back in '96.  I also maintained a part-time clinical practice at that time.

I decided to change careers and went back to school for my law degree and graduated from MSU Law in 2004, passed the Bar, and now work as an Administrative Law Examiner for the Department of Human Services adjudicating disability cases.  I live in suburban Lansing and like to travel,  enjoy an eclectic range of music (from classical to emo-indiepop), reading (mostly sci-fi and mystery),  and I refuse to grow up; I'm still a kid at heart.   I also have a part-time law practice and hope to be moving back down to Metro Detroit soon.

Looking forward to the big event, and thanks for this great website. I am a Detroit Police Officer (Southwest Dist) if you are in the neighborhood, and my husband is a Detroit Firefighter. We have 3 good kids Owen 8, Hava 5 and Ari 3. They keep us busy with the oldest in hockey, soccor and baseball, and the middle starting hockey, and playing soccor, lucky the the 3 yr old just goes with the flow at this point.
